When you use HourBurn, we collect your name, email address, and annual salary (which you provide). If you connect Google Calendar, we read your calendar event metadata — meeting titles, durations, and attendee counts — solely to perform cost analysis. We do not store your raw calendar data on our servers.
We use your data exclusively to provide HourBurn's core features: calculating meeting costs, generating AI recommendations, and delivering your executive reports. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
HourBurn requests read-only access to your Google Calendar. We access calendar data only when you explicitly run an analysis. We do not access, store, or transmit your calendar data outside of processing your requested analysis. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your account data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security enabled. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your full credit card details. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis results are stored so you can review past reports. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
HourBurn uses the following third-party services: Google Calendar API, OpenAI GPT-4o (for AI analysis), Stripe (payments), Clerk (authentication), and Supabase (database). Each service operates under its own privacy policy.
For any privacy-related questions or data deletion requests, contact us at privacy@hourburn.com.
